SHOCKING Move: Pope Francis REVOKES Sainthood of Mother Teresa SIX YEARS After Canonization

Immediately after defrocking an outspoken Pro-life advocate and staunch conservative, Father Frank Pavone, Pope Francis makes history as the first Pope of the Catholic Church to remove an officially recognized saint.

Pope Francis has been quite the pot-stirrer over the weekend and it has landed him in hot water with many who belong to the Roman Catholic Church in America. It began with the defrocking of a priest, Friar Frank Pavone, who was within the Diocese of Amarillo, Texas.

Father Frank is an energetic Trump-supporter, and fierce advocate for the unborn, serving as director of Priests for Life, and…he is an avid Twitter-user:

Many point to the tweets above as well as his other political activities and support the Vatican’s decision in removing him from the Amarillo Diocese. In a letter sent to U.S. Bishops, obtained by Catholic News Network, “blasphemous communications on social media” as well as having “had no reasonable justification for his actions” were a couple reasons among many cited in the Vatican’s decision to remove the friar.

Even still, Father Frank has substantial support in the United States with many voicing their dismay at his dismissal.

St. Teresa of Calcutta

After making what many see as a deeply concerning choice to remove a very popular priest, Pope Francis decided he would one up himself and remove a very popular Saint.

In his letter to the College of Cardinals, revealed by a source familiar with the matter, the Pope gave his reasoning for the revocation of sainthood of the Blessed Mother Teresa.

Chunky River has obtained an excerpt of that letter:

“Much like the case of Father Frank Pavone, who I have recently defrocked for all of our brothers and sisters to witness, it is my obligation as shepherd of God’s Holy Church to dispel of any individual who blasphemes and denies God’s Holy Scriptures. In her outspokenness as it relates to political ideology, Mother Teresa soured her name and the Church. Throughout her ministry yes, she helped the sick, fed the poors, and served the lowest in society for the glory of God and the spreading of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. She did these things, I acknowledge this.

But many Bishops and Priests would do well to remember is that she very publicly and repeatedly, advocated against abortion, contraception, and divorce. This blatant blasphemy has no place in my Holy See. The Church must not offend left-wing politicians or their constituents, this is the Word of God. Amen.”

St. Teresa of Calcutta is the very first saint to have their sainthood revoked, but many fear it won’t end with her.

When asked if he thought he was setting a dangerous precedent, the Pope replied, “No not at all. Do you think purging the Church of those who would otherwise desecrate her Holy mission is dangerous? You should be doing somersaults! If anything more saints need to be removed from the canon to make room for modern people doing the Lord’s work. For example, George Floyd comes to mind for canonization. Or possibly John Kerry if he eventually passes.”

A journalist then asked, “You called both Mother Teresa and Father Pavone blasphemers, but where did they contradict the Holy Scriptures or the Catechism?”

Unfortunately, the Swiss Guards quickly whisked Pope Francis away before he could answer any more questions.

The Vatican did not respond to our request for clarifying comment before the publishing of this article.
